These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blue Horizon PSC Platform ("Service") operated by Blue Horizon Solutions ("we", "our", or "us"). By registering or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Blue Horizon PSC Platform is a digital Port State Control (PSC) inspection management tool for shipping companies. It allows vessel officers to conduct digital inspections, superintendents to monitor fleet readiness in real time, and managers to generate professional inspection reports.
To use the Service, you must register with a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Each company registers independently using a unique company code. Vessel accounts are created and managed by the company administrator.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at sara@bluehorizonsolutions.net. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all inspection data, vessel information, and content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Anonymised and aggregated inspection data may be used to improve the master checklist and platform features. No personally identifiable information will be used for this purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet all Port State Control requirements in every jurisdiction.
Important: The Blue Horizon PSC Platform is a preparation and management tool. It does not guarantee PSC inspection outcomes. Final responsibility for vessel compliance rests with the shipowner, operator, and master.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Horizon Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to PSC detentions, vessel delays, or commercial losses.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to minimise disruption and notify users where possible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
